Copper Luxe Styled Shoot

In August I was asked by J'aime Magazine to put together a styled shoot for their first ever Wedding Edition. I was really excited to bring together some amazing local suppliers to create an amazing setting for a modern wedding.

So the main impact of any wedding day is the dress - right?? We had the most stunning dress from Wedding Belles in Four Oaks. They really have some stunning collections at he moment, with really modern looks.

Our bride model Heather Marie Sellers looked so stunning and gave us some amazing, edgy and sultry looks! What a stunner! And the hair by HD Hair & Beauty, part of the Lewis Moore Group, and make up by Allison Tye just perfectly finished off the look!

The groomswear, which included an amazing tailored velvet jacket was from a fantastic local business, The Bespoke Tailor. A really lovely touch for a luxury wedding look. Perfectly modelled by Andrew Stylianou, who gave perfect shot after perfect shot!

A favourite part of the shoot for me was the tablescapes - with the most amazing all foliage arrangements - not a flower to be seen! Hints of grey and copper in the table settings just looked so at home with the foliage as a backdrop.

The ingenious place settings were made by Extra Special Touch - a soft touch of delicate fabric embroidered with the place names - such a lovely idea!

And check out this breathtaking bouquet! All the flowers and foliage were created by the very talented Peggy at The Greenery & Co in Sutton Coldfield - a real talent - be quick if you want to snap her up for your big day!

Also featuring beautiful foliage was the stationery from Amy Bailey Design who hand paints all her designs - how creative is that! Totally unique stationery for you!

Next up the cake - why not?! Love the dark backdrop to this gorgeous, luxurious four tier wedding cake - emerald green with copper leaf details and hints of foliage.

The cake makes real impact being framed on this cake swing created by BrambleSky, along with other personalised signs and oversized wooden words to complement the décor, personalised for the bride and groom. Such a lovely addition to any wedding!

Moving onto other details - how fantastic would it be to arrive in style in this cute little vintage Fiat wedding car from Fabulous Kiss Rides!

We were also lucky enough to have a bridesmaid involved, out model being Hattie Levett-Dunn, who wore a gorgeous gold bridesmaid dress - designed an made by Bijou.

The venue was Swinfen Hall, in Lichfield, Staffordshire, with some beautiful walled garden and courtyard - lots of brick and small outhouses really add some character. My favourite feature being these gorgeous industrial black iron gates - a perfect backdrop for the bride and groom.

All perfectly captured by Becky Tranter of Life Through a Lens Photograhy, And for more of her shots of the wedding shoot you can see them here. We also had a very talented videographer, Jaxn Visuals, who captured the behind the scenes of a styled shoot - a short video of his work can be seen here!
